I'm intrigued with men that do things out of the ordinary. There is something about the "tough" guy that I like. Don't ask me why. I just do. I also like men who have their softer side, too. But only when I'm an emotional wreck. Anyway, I'm intrigued with this guy named Aaron Inman.
Now I don't know that much about Inman except for what I've read. But what I've read is very, very interested. Nothing seems to stop this guy. He's an avid outdoorsman and lives in the beautiful Pacific NW. I live here, too and that's probably part of the intrigue.
Let me tell you WHY I'm intrigued. Nothing stops him. He tells a story of seeing a giant fungus in a tree that was up 20 feet. The friend with him told him he couldn't get it. The challenge began. He found a tall tree that had fallen down, took the limbs and made a ladder. He climbed the tree, took a tarp and made a gurney. He used some sticks to carry it out. I was over 40 pounds. That's only the beginning.
This story involves a live rattlesnake. The neighbor had a live rattlesnake at the door. He took a rake and tried to retrieve it but that didn't work. So he grabbed it by the tail and the rattle came off in his hand. He killed it with the knife he had in the other hand.
There's more. Because this guys like the outdoors he gets hurt a lot.
Well, once he cut his leg and his dad tried to stitch it. But, he just couldn't do it. No problem, Inman did it himself. He's also stitched himself with a fish hook.
Because of all his outdoor knowledge he invented a product called, The Wallup. It's sort of a portable, outdoor, wall in a bag. He says it withstands winds up to 15 miles per hour, is durable and easy to assemble. If it's as tough as him, I'll buy 2 of them.
"I watched Aaron fall off a 32 foot bridge and land on his head upside down on river rock and blood exploded everywhere. He flipped over and was floating face down in the river when we pulled him out. All he said when he came to is "I'm OK get me a beer". We eventually made him go to the the hospital where he got 50 stitches in his head but he was the first one up fishing the next day!" Burt Shields
"I Saw Aaron stitch his lip with a fishook in the mirror when we lived together in Index. He cut his lip after chewing up a a beer bottle and none of us could manage to stitch it for him. Toughest dude I ever met." Steve Moore.
"We went on a hike and fell through the snow on some jagged rocks. Since he was wearing shorts he cut his leg really bad and we could see bone. We had a hard time stopping the bleeding so we hiked back out. When we got to his house he tried to talk someone into stitching it but the only one that would try was his dad. His dad couldn't handle it so Aaron finished it himself. I couldn't even bring myself to watch." Cameron Christine.
"I was walking with Aaron in the dark woods and he tripped and fell cutting his hand really bad on something. He was bleeding so bad we ruined 2 t-shirts when we realized the bleeding wasn't going to stop I drove him to the hospital. He was only seventeen at the time and growing up past the power lines there was no phone to contact his parents so they wouldn't stitch him. Aaron talked the doctor into giving him sutures and Aaron stitched himself up right there in the hospital." Tony Davenport.
"I was sitting in the tavern with Aaron and another friend of mine who thought himself a tough biker. We were just sitting there in the middle of the day and Aaron grabs a shot glass off the table and chews the top half off! When it was all chewed up he spit it back into the lower portion of the glass and took a drink of his beer like nothing happened. I knew Aaron but my tough biker buddy went to the bathrooom and puked! Aarons so funny" Becka Poole.
